Hey, is Dr.Muhammad Al-katawneh from the IT school any good in teaching OS (operating systems)? i don't know the name at all! and wht about Dr.Ghassan Halaseh; is he any good in electromagnetics(Computer)?

someone, about OS, all the instructors are weak, you'll find that they don't have proper understanding about much of stuff that they teach, but Dr.Muhammad Al-katawneh is your best choice because whatever he talks about in the lecture comes in the exams, and he gives high grades on participation, he used to give us quizzes and homeworks, but no matter how you do in quizzes and homeworks you'll get a high grade out of 20
for ghassan halaseh, he's a below-the-average instructor, he's better than Dr.Loai Khalf, but Dr.Diaa Abulnadi is much better, it's the first time that he's going to teach electromagnetic, if you're still second or third year student, it's better if you delay it until a better doctor takes it

hi again, is Dr.Ali El-Moussa good in embedded and digital electronics? would he be any good? i understand he's tuff and not easy, but is he good in these two courses? another question, is Dr.Gheith good in Computer Design?

Dr.Ali is good in teaching embedded, but as you said, he's not easy to deal with, and his exams are sometimes out of the scope, but what differs him from most electrical engineering doctors is that he uses the average to evaluate students, so if everybody did bad in an exam, that doesn't mean that nobody is getting an "A",
Dr.Iyad Jafar is taking it this semester too, about Dr.Iyad, he's the best doctor I've see in our college, but it's the first time he takes the embedded course.
Dr.Ali has never taken digital electronics before, but i think that he'll be the same as in any other course
about Dr.Gieth, he's relatively good in computer design, he has taken it so many times, and he's an expert in design, his exams and quizzes are easy, but if you still didn't take embedded systems, it's recommended to delay it on semester until you finish embedded, it's not a prerequisite, but it's better if you take it first.

and those two need much of work and time,
for design, it's an important course that you need to understand well, so it's better if you study from the book, and it's a lot of reading to do (you'll finish the whole book),

if (the other courses you have in this semester are heavy; i mean they need a lot of study)
no, just take embedded this semester and design next semester
else
take both of them, it's not that big of a deal

no hiba, there's not website for database, but it maybe has a page on the blackboard, ask your friends about the password and username

No, it's not considered hard, it talks about applications on Electronic devices, and no it doesn't depend completely on Electronics, you only need to know shallow things about it, things that you wouldn't pass Electronics if you didn't know, about Dr.Ali-Almousa, it's the first time he teachs it, so we still don't know how it would be like with him, but in general, he's good in delevering information, but it's not easy to get high grades with him

Design lab has nothing to do with the Design class itself because Dr.Ghieth Abandah changed it from designing a microprocessor into designing a microcontroller, so it depends on the Embedded Systems,a little of Digital Logic, and Computer Organization courses,
one more thing about this lab, it requires a lot of work at home, so don't take it with much of difficult courses, it requires the work of more that a 3-hour course, but that doesn't mean that it's hard, on the contrary, it's easy
